Romantic 1970s white sheer pleated nylon chiffon nightgown
A dreamy late-1960s to early-1970s nightgown crafted from two softly translucent textures: a lace upper section and a pressed-pleated nylon chiffon skirt. The lace top is sheer, and the chiffon skirt is also sheer with a light, see-through quality, allowing the gown to catch and filter light beautifully.
The lace is adorned with tiny lilac and white flowers hand-applied later by dirati., adding gentle color and dimension. Two small chiffon ties at the front and wide silk ribbons framing the V neckline complete the romantic upper portion.
Below, the skirt falls in long pressed pleats made from sheer nylon chiffon that holds its shape while retaining a delicate airy feel. The combination of translucency, structure, and soft movement gives the entire gown an ethereal presence.
