Vintage 1960s mint nylon chiffon camisole

A delicate vintage camisole dating to the 1960s, originally a nightgown that has been professionally reworked into a shorter camisole silhouette by dirati. Crafted in airy sheer mint nylon chiffon layered over a soft nylon tricot lining, the piece has a light, floating silhouette characteristic of mid-century lingerie construction.

The bust is softly gathered for shape and volume, framed by floral embroidered trim that runs along the neckline and empire seam. Satin ribbon ties are set at the sides and threaded through the chiffon overlay, allowing the silhouette to be drawn in at the empire line and tied at the back for an adjustable, softly cinched fit. The semi-sheer layered hem creates gentle movement and a romantic finish.

A beautifully preserved example of 1960s lingerie design, thoughtfully transformed into a wearable modern top while maintaining its original craftsmanship and charm.

Condition: Good vintage condition
Light scattered snags present on both the nylon tricot lining and sheer nylon chiffon overlay at the front and back. The back also shows a small area of fiber wear from friction, resulting in tiny holes. All flaws are subtle and mostly visible only upon close inspection, and do not detract from the overall appearance when worn.
