A rare and exquisite vintage slip dress by Christian Dior, likely from the Spring/Summer 1998 Ready-to-Wear collection — similar pieces were seen on the runway that season. Made in France during the celebrated late-1990s era of John Galliano, it embodies the romantic, feminine spirit that defined Dior at the time.

Crafted from luxurious 100% silk jacquard, it showcases a delicate iris floral motif in soft lavender and pale green on a muted off-white base, with the woven floral design revealing a gentle lustre that subtly catches the light. Violet floral lace trims the bust and hem, both scalloped for a refined feminine touch. Beneath the bust lace, a small “DIOR” logo is delicately embroidered — an understated yet elegant detail.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition. There is a faint yellowish spot near the back hem and some minor thread displacement in the jacquard weave pattern — both subtle and only noticeable upon close inspection.
